IDR is seeking an AI Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves supporting high-priority AI governance initiatives within a healthcare organization, focusing on program management, coordination, and compliance to ensure AI applications meet organizational standards.
Position Overview for the AI Project Manager:
- Supports AI governance and policy efforts through project coordination and management.
- Facilitates active workstreams, meetings, and decision-making processes aligned with organizational AI standards.
- Maintains project documentation, trackers, and artifacts to ensure seamless execution of AI initiatives.
- Works with leadership to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Acts as a key liaison across technical and business teams to drive progress and accountability.
Requirements for the AI Project Manager:
- 4+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, governance, or compliance environments.
- 1+ year of experience with AI governance and/or implementation projects.
- Proficiency in supporting multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Experience maintaining project plans, action trackers, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills and ability to translate high-level concepts into practical next steps.
