IDR is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN OR Remote. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence solutions. The organization specializes in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Position Overview for the Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Responsible for compiling and analyzing data to develop and modify Business Intelligence (BI) process applications
- Collaborates closely with system users and technical Subject Matter Experts to deliver ad-hoc data requests
- Maintains technical knowledge related to BI, reporting, and data warehousing concepts in an Oracle and Business Objects environment
- Develops technical specifications, reports, dashboards, and performs quality assurance measures
- Supports and maintains the Business Objects administrative environment, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
Requirements for the Business Intelligence Analyst:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a Bachelor's degree
- Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and manipulating data
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar tools like Power BI
- Ability to build and maintain dashboards from scratch and troubleshoot issues
- Strong data storytelling skills to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
