Position Overview/Responsibilities for the DOT Compliance Specialist:

• Oversee and manage DOT and FMCSA compliance, ensuring full adherence across company operations. • Conduct audits and monitor compliance with hours-of-service (HOS) regulations, driver qualification files, and CSA scores. • Lead investigations into driver-related incidents and develop corrective action plans. • Coordinate and deliver training on DOT and OSHA requirements, ensuring clear communication across teams. • Collaborate with legal teams during audits and investigations, and support compliance related to the transportation of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT).

Required Skills for DOT Compliance Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in retail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel. • Completion of OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. • Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
