IDR is seeking a FileNet Software Developer Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role will lead development and implementation work across an enterprise content management (ECM) environment, supporting multiple business units and high-visibility initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong IBM FileNet P8 expertise, Java development skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and guide solution design in a hybrid infrastructure.
Position Overview for the FileNet Software Developer Lead:
- Lead development and enhancement of ECM solutions using IBM FileNet P8 and related platforms in a hybrid environment
- Build and support Java-based integrations with ECM APIs to insert, retrieve, update, and manage content and metadata
- Drive workflow and business process automation (document classes, workflow maps, queues, subscriptions) to meet operational needs
- Oversee data ingestion and migration efforts from multiple sources into ECM repositories
- Provide technical leadership through troubleshooting, environment support, and mentoring other team members
Requirements for the FileNet Software Developer Lead:
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and implementing IBM FileNet P8 solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Strong Java development experience integrating with FileNet APIs (and ability to work with/learn additional ECM APIs as needed)
- Experience with FileNet P8 components such as Content Platform Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator, and workflow development
- Working knowledge of relational databases and enterprise application environments (e.g., WebSphere and SQL Server/DB2/Oracle)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot logs/traces, resolve production issues, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
