IDR is seeking a GIS Developer to join one of our clients for an opportunity in Arlington, Texas. This role is with an organization that specializes in geospatial technology solutions, focusing on developing and automating GIS workflows to improve spatial data management and visualization.
Position Overview for the GIS Developer:
- Build, automate, and enhance geospatial applications and workflows using Python and ArcGIS Arcade.
- Develop custom GIS solutions to meet project and client needs.
- Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Create advanced map visualizations and implement business logic within the ESRI ArcGIS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver geospatial insights and solutions.
Requirements for the GIS Developer:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing GIS solutions using Python and ArcGIS Arcade
- 2+ years of experience with the ESRI ArcGIS Platform
- Experience developing GIS applications, automating workflows, and performing geospatial analysis
- Strong understanding of geodatabases, feature services, spatial data management, and map development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team
