IDR is seeking a IT Service Desk Technician to join one of our top clients for Columbia, Tennessee. This role involves providing frontline technical support within a structured IT service environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations through prompt issue resolution.

Position Overview for the IT Service Desk Technician :
• Deliver high-quality first-contact technical support to end-users via multiple communication channels such as phone, email, Teams, and service portal.
• Log, categorize, and prioritize incidents while maintaining targeted First Contact Resolution (FCR) rates.
• Support hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Manage support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic access management tasks.
• Maintain detailed documentation, contribute to knowledge bases, and identify recurring issues for process improvement.

Requirements for the IT Service Desk Technician :
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of technical support or customer service experience preferred
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred
• ITIL Foundations certification preferred
