IDR is seeking a Lead Accessibility Designer. The role involves supporting four product pods within the Digital Product Organization by reviewing designs and implementations for WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, performing manual accessibility testing, supporting accessibility reviews within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), documenting findings, and ensuring accessibility standards are consistently applied across multiple teams. This position combines hands-on work with collaboration and mentorship, reporting to the Lead Accessibility Designer in a remote setting.
Position Overview for the Lead Accessibility Designer:
- Review product designs and code to ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
- Perform manual accessibility testing using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
- Support accessibility reviews within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component-level authoring and content review.
- Document accessibility findings and collaborate with teams to implement necessary improvements.
- Partner with product designers and engineers to promote accessibility best practices and standards.
Requirements for the Lead Accessibility Designer:
- 3+ years of experience in digital accessibility designing.
- Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
- Experience reviewing designs and code for accessibility compliance.
- Manual accessibility testing experience using JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component-level authoring and content review.

Compensation: $55 - 59/hr W2
