IDR is seeking a Network Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in enterprise network systems, supporting network infrastructure, and ensuring optimal network performance. The client is a leader in the technology solutions industry, offering a dynamic environment that values technical expertise and proactive support.
Position Overview for the Network Analyst:
- Develops, administers, and supports enterprise network systems, including network design and architecture
- Monitors network performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing fault/problem resolution
- Configures, implements, and maintains network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Supports network security tools, including Cisco ISE and A10 Load Balancer, ensuring secure network operations
- Performs network monitoring using tools like WhatsUp and MRTG, and provides 24-hour on-call support
Requirements for the Network Analyst:
- 2+ years of experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewall configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
- Experience with network design, architecture, and topology development
- Experience with VPN configuration and secure remote access technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold, MRTG) and performance analysis
- CCNA certification (nice to have)
