IDR is seeking a Network Operations Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves leading and overseeing network services operations within a dynamic environment that includes WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms. The company operates in the technology and communications industry, focusing on innovative network solutions and security.
Position Overview for the Network Operations Manager:
- Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms
- Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability
- Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues
- Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security-focused functions
- Support ongoing and planned initiatives, including SD-WAN implementation and optimization, network monitoring, and security integrations
Requirements for the Network Operations Manager:
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment
- Experience with implementation and support of a 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environment
- Strong knowledge of network security standards and regulatory requirements
