IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX. This role focuses on managing large-scale IT or business transformation projects within a structured environment, emphasizing stakeholder coordination, risk management, and project delivery. The company operates within the public sector, dedicated to public safety and law enforcement agencies, providing impactful services through innovative project execution.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and communication components.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment and execution of project activities.
- Monitor project performance, track progress against milestones, and ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues and risks.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, meetings, and status reporting to ensure clear communication and transparency.
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT or business transformation projects in a structured environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business units.
- Experience with risk management, issue tracking, and change control processes.
