IDR is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves working in the healthcare technology industry, focusing on building and improving end-user platforms within a fast-paced startup environment. The company is dedicated to innovative solutions that prioritize data security and patient-facing applications.
Position Overview for the Senior Platform Engineer:
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable solutions.
- Improve existing codebases and implement new features efficiently.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing ambiguity effectively.
- Leverage startup experience to drive high-impact technical initiatives.
Requirements for the Senior Platform Engineer:
- Full-stack development experience with Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind, React, and Next.js.
- Proven experience building end-user platforms and working with existing codebases.
- Expertise in data security, particularly in patient-facing applications.
- Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity comfortably.
- Experience building agentic workflows and familiarity with healthcare systems, HIPAA, and EMR integrations are a plus.

$75-$100/hr
