IDR is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on marketing vendor categories within a dynamic financial organization.
Position Overview for the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager:
- Responsible for executing complex RFX events, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, within the marketing procurement space.
- Lead strategic contract negotiations and drafting to optimize vendor relationships and procurement efficiency.
- Manage marketing-specific vendor categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders to achieve sourcing objectives.
- Support the organization’s investment in innovative solutions by providing procurement expertise and cost-saving strategies.
Requirements for the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing
- Experience executing complex RFX (RFP, RFQ, RFI) events
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing C-suite stakeholders
- Extensive experience specifically within the marketing sourcing category
