IDR is seeking a Splunk Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting cloud integration projects within a government agency, focusing on designing and customizing Splunk solutions to meet operational goals. The company operates within the technology and cloud services industry, providing critical support for state government infrastructure without mentioning specific compensation details.
Position Overview for the Splunk Developer:
- Design, develop, and customize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerting solutions to support business goals and operational needs.
- Collaborate with users to translate requirements into actionable Splunk use cases and dashboards.
- Write and optimize complex SPL queries for searches, correlations, alerts, and reports, emphasizing search performance.
- Maintain knowledge objects such as saved searches, macros, lookups, tags, and event types to ensure organized workspaces.
- Support cloud data integration with AWS, OpenShift containers, and pods for comprehensive monitoring and analysis.
Requirements for the Splunk Developer:
- Strong hands-on experience on design, development, and customization of Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerting solutions.
- Proficiency in writing and optimization of complex SPL queries.
- Experience on collaboration with users to translate requirements into actionable Splunk use cases.
- Knowledge of integrating data from AWS, Open Shift containers, and pods.
- Advanced Skills in Splunk and Application Development, with experience in AWS CloudWatch Events and Splunk Advanced skills.
