Position Overview for the Sr Accountant: The Senior Accountant is a key contributor within the U.S. Accounting & Reporting team and will play a critical role in the successful integration of the Alastin business into the Oracle ERP environment. This position is responsible for leading financial master data cleansing, validation, and mapping activities including General Ledger accounts, cost centers, strategic customers, and building appropriate reporting to ensure a seamless transition into Oracle with no disruption to business operations at go-live.
Required Skills for the Sr Accountant:
5+ years of experience In an Accounting role within pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or public multinational environments
3+ years of experience gathering data and implementing/leading business requirements (Business Analyst background)
Solid understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, with the ability to research and apply accounting guidance to moderately complex transactions
Strong ERP system knowledge Oracle, NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
Certified CPA is preferred
