IDR is seeking a Sr IT Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role supports digital projects within a fast-paced environment focused on enterprise websites and digital ecosystems. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating agile delivery and bridging technical teams with business stakeholders.
Position Overview for the Sr IT Business Analyst:
- Support the Product Owner by eliciting, documenting, and translating business and technical requirements into user stories.
- Manage and prioritize the Azure DevOps backlog for upcoming sprints, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Lead business-side User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, oversight, and issue tracking.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader to the team by identifying and removing blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
Requirements for the Sr IT Business Analyst:
- 5+ years of experience in a combined Business Analyst and Scrum Master role within digital or website teams.
- Proven experience working with enterprise websites, digital marketing platforms, and CMS tools.
- Deep understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a must.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) best practices, SEO fundamentals, QA/testing workflows, and digital analytics.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
